Colorado's Premier Show Band
Pete Luthman
"Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame"
2008 Inductee
Pete Luthman has performed with some of the top groups in the Denver music scene for over 30 years. In 1971, Pete formed a local show group "Touch" and began touring around the country for the "Centaur Artists" agency in North Hollywood, California. In 1974, Pete returned to Colorado to form a local dance group " Motivation Machine". This band performed together for 12 years, and became on of Denver's top groups of the 70's and early 80's playing a variety of dance music, from funk to rock.
In 1991, Pete joined a local dance
trio "Nightworks". This country-based group performed the casino
circuit of Blackhawk and Central City until 1995. Since 2000,
until their retirement in 2007, Pete has played drums for "Lorraine and
Mountain Gold". Now as one of the
featured singers and drummer for the "Jim Hyatt Band", Pete is enjoying
the total variety show that the band brings to the stage. The high
energy performances of the "Jim Hyatt Band" are a perfect fit for the
wonderful talents Pete Luthman brings to the show.
